There are legitimate jobs out there. Most involve customer service, reservations, etc., although there are various support jobs such as administrative assistant, etc. You’ll have to dig to find them. Try the online job banks, such as Monster, for leads. DO NOT PAY for any job or for any leads. They are all scams. Do not follow up on any jobs that require you to buy materials and then send them or re-sell them. They are scams. Be aware that working from home means you have to be available during the hours you say you will work. Many of these jobs require nights, weekends, holidays, or rotating work assignments. It is totally unprofessional to expect a client or your company to listen to kids crying, dogs barking, televisions blaring, etc., while you are working and on the phone. Good luck.

Honestly, not many. There are so many scams running out there right now it’s not even funny. Companies claiming that if you take their course that you can "work at home as medical transcriptionist". Which in the end are all BS. There are so few companies that will actually outsource work to you. Those that work at home are mostly ones who have been with a certain company for years and their company happens to offer that to employees.
Not trying to bum you out but if you want to make money from home, try Avon or something like that.

One successful way to work at home on a computer is to first get a job using your computer skills. Next, work into being able to do this work form your home.
